Love What You Do and Never Work a Day in Your Life

It's been a long time. To the tune of 4 years or more since I've written anything. It's a bit crazy how some things we're so passionate about that we've done almost everyday for extended amounts of time just abruptly end for no reason. That's life I guess. Things change. Actually there is nothing concrete in your life, all you have is your beliefs and your family. Inwhich can still change at the blink of an eye.  Deep, right?

In my life I've travelled, not extensively but more than a "vacationing tourist". I don't like to think of myself as a tourist but more of a traveller or wanderer, if you will. I've always been one for adventure and I am always willing to do anything once. I know, [Insert inappropriate thoughts here_]. I come from a well travelled family and share their same "on the road again" urges each time I return home and the high from the experience is gone. My love for food and photography fall in the same passion pit as writing and travel so here we are, combining a little of all of it under one web log.

We all have a wish list and we all have our "one day" imaginary dream vacations. Today its about wish boards and making things happen. I've reached the point in my life where I no longer want to dream or think "one day". I've committed to doing this and will continue to do this until it can no longer be done. By "this" I mean, conquer my travel list.  The list it's self is still under construction so I won't post it here. However, I will tell you where I have been and go from there. In the next few posts, you will witness, different trips I've taken in the last couple of years, food that I've eaten, interesting people I've met and random animals along the way. Stay tuned.

1. Old San Juan, Puerto Rico
2. Rincon, Puerto Rico
3. Negril, Jamaica
4. Manuel Antonio, Costa Rica
5. Portland, Oregon

I broke Puerto Rico into two seperate areas because they are very different and there is so much to take away from both of them that they needed posts of their own.

I may not travel for a living but it makes making a living a heck of a lot easier when you're working toward these experiences.
